Founded in 1989, Esperanza Health Center provides holistic, bilingual and bicultural health care services in the name of Jesus Christ to the Latino and underserved communities of Philadelphia. Esperanza’s medical providers are highly-qualified and board-certified, and everyone on the clinical staff speaks both Spanish and English. We have been recognized on multiple occasions by local managed care plans for excellence in care.
Esperanza provides affordable, quality health care to persons without insurance, on a sliding fee scale based on an individual's income. Esperanza also accepts several insurance plans, including:

Important Information for New Patients
- All new patients begin care with a scheduled physical exam appointment.
- New patients should plan to arrive one hour prior to their scheduled appointment time.
- Please bring your insurance card and photo identification to your first appointment.
- If you do not have insurance, please bring proof of your family’s income, such as a paycheck stub or letter from your employer stating your family’s income.

- IMPORTANT NOTICE: All patients who park in this lot must obtain a parking permit from the Esperanza front desk for the day of their visit, and must park only in the spaces designated Patient/Visitor parking. Vehicles will be ticketed by the Philadelphia Parking Authority if they do not have a valid permit, or if they are parked in other areas of the lot.
