Dental Practice
Dentist
EHC seeks a full- or part-time Dentist to provide clinical dental services and preventive dental care in a community health center setting. Qualifications: Applicants should have at least two years of experience or completion of accredited AEGD or GPR program. Working at EHC should qualify employee for state or federal loan reimbursement programs. Ability to function clinically in Spanish is beneficial but not required. Dental Hygienist
EHC seeks a full- or part-time Dental Hygienist to join the health center’s new dental practice. Qualifications: Applicant must have graduated from accredited school of dental hygiene and have all current licenses/certifications necessary to maintain clinical privileges. Clinical fluency in Spanish preferred. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and be able to function well as a team player in ministering to the patient population of EHC through oral health care. Medical Services
Registered Nurse
EHC seeks a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse or LPN to provide Christ-centered health care to the Latino community of North Philadelphia. Qualifications: Individual must be bilingual in Spanish and English and must have at least 1 year of nursing experience. Duties include: patient triage; education; spiritual care; multi-specialty care coordination; staff education; and, support to the Head Nurse. Contact: Richard Rohrer (refer to above info.)
Medical Assistant
EHC seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to work with physicians. Qualifications: Individual must be conversational in Spanish and English. Experience with basic skills (such as taking blood pressure, giving shots, taking medical history) is preferred. Ideal candidate will have a strong desire to serve Christ in a ministry setting. Social Worker
EHC seeks a full-time Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary Social Services team. This position is designed to address the complex bio-psycho-social-spiritual needs of EHC patients and the community through interventions, advocacy, and resource linkage. Responsibilities include Social Work, Case Management for HIV+ Adults, and HIV Testing and Counseling in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to client-centered care. Qualifications: The applicant must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in a Social Work (BSW) or a related degree, must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and must have a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. Mental Health Services
Mental Health Services Director
The Mental Health Services Director is responsible for the overall program planning, development, implementation and evaluation of Esperanza's counseling and social work programs. Esperanza's model of counseling and social work integrates clinical therapy and biblical counseling. In this position, the Director would oversee EHC's counselors and social workers, facilitating staff development, evaluation and clinical supervision. The Director will work with other EHC administration to act as a liaison with funding agencies, develop relevant policy and procedures, and foster ongoing community relationships.Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in the mental health field as a licensed clinician: LSW, LCSW or psychologist, and as a supervisor/administrator. Counselor
EHC seeks a full- or part-time Counselor. The individual will be responsible for providing mental health treatment, biblical counseling, and referral services to EHC patients and their families. Requires collaboration with the medical providers and other staff regarding the patient’s needs, and referral of counseling patients, when appropriate, to external psychiatric/counseling social service agencies. Qualifications: Candidates should have a master’s degree in clinical therapy with the ability to be credentialed by Community Behavioral Health. Contact: Richard Rohrer (refer to above info.)
