Services by Referral

Hospital In-Patient Care

Esperanza's medical providers conduct hospital inpatient rounds for their patients who have been admitted to two of the hospitals in the Temple University Health System - Temple University Main Hospital, and Northeastern Hospital. These patients will benefit greatly from being seen by their Esperanza primary care physician, who speaks their language, already knows their medical history, and can minister to them in their time of need.

Medication Dispensary

To better serve our patients, Esperanza now offers a new in-house medication dispensary at the Main Office on Kensington Avenue. The dispensary will allow Esperanza to offer significantly discounted prescription drugs for patients who are least able to afford them, at a convenient location within the health center. Esperanza is offering this new service in conjunction with the Coordinated Care Network (CCN) of Pittsburgh, PA, who provides pre-packaged medications directly to Esperanza.

In addition to the new medication dispensary at the Main Office, a second medication dispensary at the 5th Street Office is scheduled to open later in 2008.
