Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners
Esperanza seeks Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to provide Christ-centered, wholistic care to the predominantly Latino North Philadelphia community. Passion for the gospel and Spanish functionality (or willingness to learn) are required. Providers have received loan repayment via National Health Service Corps, the Pennsylvania Loan Repayment Program, or Project MedSend.

Staff Dentist
Esperanza seeks General Dentists to provide clinical dental services & preventive dental care in a community health center setting. Qualifications: Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience or completion of accredited AEGD or GPR program, and should qualify for state or federal loan reimbursement programs. Spanish functionality is beneficial, but not required. Strong interpersonal skills and team approach to oral health care desired.

Dental Hygienist
Esperanza seeks a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join its dental team. Qualifications: Applicant must have graduated from accredited school of dental hygiene, and must have all current licenses/certifications necessary to maintain clinical privileges. Clinical fluency in Spanish preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and team approach to oral health care desired.

Registered Nurse

Adherence Nurse
EHC is seeking an Adherence Nurse to work with HIV-positive patients in a team environment. This individual will provide primary care services and evaluate patient readiness to start and adhere to HIV medications. The Adherence Nurse will work closely with Esperanza's HIV Care Team to ensure ongoing access to resources and provide education necessary for adherence to HIV care and treatment of patients. The Adherence Nurse works with the community of North Philadelphia to provide care in a manner that is culturally-specific and client-centered and involves seeing patients in their homes.
Qualifications: Candidates for this positions must be bilingual (English & Spanish) and must be a registered nurse or possess a bachelor’s degree in science with 2 years of experience in direct patient care. Knowledge of HIV disease preferable.
