Volunteer
Esperanza Health Center has numerous volunteer opportunities for those interested in serving, including both clinical and administrative assistance. Within the clinical setting, we seek bilingual volunteers to help with clerical, medical, nursing and research needs. In the administrative setting, volunteer needs vary from project to project.

Short and Intermediate Term Volunteer Needs
Esperanza has a current critical need for help in filing and copying charts in the medical records room. In addition, volunteers are also needed for clerical assistance on an ongoing basis at both offices, during regular clinic hours M - F from 9 to 5 and at the main office (Kensington Ave.), on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12 noon.
Skills of Volunteers
Volunteers and their abilities range across the spectrum. Past volunteers have included college students, medical students, medical personnel, nurses, missionaries, and others interested in serving God through Esperanza’s ministry to the underserved of North Philadelphia.
